Power of Youth in scaling multisectoral collaboration: Achieving forests next generations envision for 2050
What?
During the years 2020–2022, our world faced global catastrophes, ranging from tremendous droughts and wildfires, severe flooding and landslides, biodiversity and energy crisis, as well as COVID-19 pandemic. We will bring together stakeholders in climate mitigation, agriculture, energy, wood technology, biodiversity and conservation to develop solutions towards 2050 and communicate the cross-sectoral relevance of forests in combating global issues, aligning with objectives two and three of the Congress.

How?
The first part of the session will be a ‘Ted-talk’ format presentation with picture-based slides, giving an overview of global challenges, the forestry sector, and expressing the passion and doubts of young people.
The second part will be a dialogue between different stakeholders, with both youth representatives and experts.
