Informal Forum for International Students’ Organizations (IFISO)Location: Belgium Website: www.ifiso.org Description: IFISO is an informal forum for international officers of pluralistic, “non-political” and not-for-profit international student-run organisations. It gathers about 30 students’ organizations in the field of Law, medicine, agriculture, economy, policy, forestry… With IFSA: IFISO permits to discuss and try to find solution on the (same) problems met by International students’ Organisations, to share ideas and methods (fundraising, management…), to put in relation the different field covered by the different association. European Geography Association for students and young geographers (EGEA)Secretariat: Utrecht, Netherlands Website: https://www.egea.eu Description: The European Geography Association for Students and Young Geographers (EGEA) was founded in 1989 by students from the universities of Barcelona, Utrecht and Warsaw. EGEA consists of approximately 90 entities in about 30 European countries. The association forms a network for geography students and young geographers to exchange knowledge, share skills and to enable its members to discover their potential as young scientist. Sharing and living the European idea is among our most important assets. With IFSA: EGEA and IFSA formally signed a partnership agreement in Graz on April 4th, 2017. It was agreed upon to provide the partner with a new platform to increase their visibility, to share and exchange practices, to invite members to fitting events and to attempt to cooperate in the organisation of events. Asociación Latinoamericana de Estudiantes de Ciencias Forestales (ALECIF)Website: Not available General Objective: To integrate the diverse institutions that are dedicated to the development of professionals in the field of forest sciences, with the purpose of analyzing the problems common to all the Latin American countries and consolidating an administrative, academic and responsible structure that works towards contributing solutions. With IFSA: Agreement ALECIF/IFSA signed in October 2007. The main objective is to strengthen the forestry student network into Latin America and between Latin America and the other part of the world. A new partnership agreement and terms of collaboration should be set in 2014.
