DESCRIPTION:Stockholm+50\, mandated by the UN General Assembly (UNGA)\, is an international UN meeting that will take place on 2 and 3 June 2022 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment and serve as a contribution to accelerate action towards a more sustainable society. UNEP serves as the coordinating UN agency for the event. \nThe Government of Sweden will host a UN\, high-level meeting in June 2022 to commemorate this anniversary. The aim is to contribute to accelerating a transformation that leads to sustainable and green economies\, more jobs\, and a healthy planet for all\, where no one is left behind.
