DESCRIPTION:A wonderful opportunity is coming! Join the Forestry Summer Course 2023\, organized by Forestry of Faculty\, Universitas Gadjah Mada @kehutanan_ugm! This incredible opportunity will occur in Yogyakarta\, Indonesia from the 14th – the 27th of August. \nWithin Managing Forest Landscapes & Forest Dependent-Communities to Bridge the Future: Learning Learning Across Governance Regimes as the theme of this year\, several learning menus will be presented:\n1) Rehabilitation\, restoration\, and land reclamation efforts for the recovery of various forest ecosystem landscapes (mineral\, mining\, peat\, and mangrove);\n2) Sustainable forest management to increase carbon emission absorption;\n3) Community-based forest management models to improve community welfare;\n4) Various utilization of timber\, non-timber forests and environmental services; and\n5) Cultural recognition and exchange. \nRegistration: 1st May – 30th June 2023
