Asia Pacific Regional Meeting 2020 – Taiwan
“Not just forests, not only woods”
The first Asia Regional Meeting (ARM) of IFSA was held in Taiwan in 2010 and started the conversation of forestry, culture and academic information between Asian students. In 2013, ARM was alternated to Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM). From then on, Asia-Pacific Region has been prospering in joining new members and plays an important role in IFSA.In 2020, APRM will be hosted in Taiwan once again, with theme “Not just forests, not only woods”. By understanding the fact that forests provide a variety of benefits and functions to human and the environment, we hope to gather people’s’ knowledge and experience about how to promote the multi-value of forests in different countries. We wish to bring out the importance of sustainable forestry management and figure out possible strategies of applying forests’ functions into people’s daily lives.
