Join the World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (WCEF2023)
We are happy to invite you to the World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (May 30 – June 2), held in Helsinki, Finland. The main event will last from 30 May to 31 May, and there is an opportunity to join it online (free of charge)!
The World Circular Economy Forum 2023 (WCEF2023) will gather together forward-looking thinkers and doers and present the game-changers in the circular economy. The forum will explore circular solutions for nature and the economy, covering a variety of topics, such as finance, accounting and metrics, everyday life and health, future skills, regenerative agriculture and forestry, finite materials and energy, mining, trade, strategies and road maps, fashion and textiles, food, construction and the built environment, plastics and packaging, electronics, and hydrogen.
WCEF2023 is co-organised by Nordic Innovation and the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, with international partners.
Our long-term and trusted partner European Forest Institute (EFI) was invited to organise a session on the “More diverse role for forests”. As a contribution to meaningful youth engagement, EFI gave our two IFSA members the opportunity to moderate the session. Our very own Alina Lehikoinen will facilitate the entire session, while Polina Blinova will moderate the panel discussion on “Fostering the future by asking the next generation: How can we future-proof forests?”.
Furthermore, this opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without our Executive Secretary Johanna Klapper who put in a lot of work and enthusiasm to facilitate youth engagement.
Tune in, learn about the circular economy across various sectors and support our IFSA fellows!
