Field Dialogue on Tree Plantations in the Landscape

Delegation Open Call

Dear IFSA Family,

We are happy to announce that the application period for the Field Dialogue on Tree Plantations in the Landscape organized by The Forests Dialogue is open now!

TFD is a platform and process for multi-stakeholder discussion and collaboration on the most pressing local and global issues facing forests and people. TFD launched the Tree Plantations in the Landscape (TPL) Initiative in September 2015 to explore the evolving state of issues related to tree plantations and planted forests within the larger landscape context through engaging key stakeholder groups at the international and local levels.

The Field Dialogue will be held in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, from 12th – 16th June. It will include both plenary and small working-group formats and field visits to hear directly from local participants about social and environmental challenges on the ground.

Read more about the event here.

For this great opportunity, TFD has invited two IFSA members, one preferably from Indonesia and an international member (supported by TFD). We are looking for an enthusiast on Tree Plantation or eager to learn and share what they learn at this event. We invite our delegates to participate as stakeholders rather than as observers.

If you are interested, please fill out this form by May 21st at 23:59 UTC+0.

We are looking forward to your applications!
