Open Call for Delegates –
FOREST EUROPE Expert Level Meeting

Dear IFSA World,

IFSA is given the opportunity to join the FOREST EUROPE Expert Level Meeting with a 3 student delegation. The event will be happening in Bonn from 9th to 10th January 2024. 

This Expert Level Meeting is of particular importance for preparing the next Ministerial conference, as it is planned to negotiate the zero draft of the FOREST EUROPE Ministerial documents. 

IFSA delegates will have the opportunity to see how the negotiation process is happening and talk directly to the European ministers and their representatives, which is a great opportunity to learn more about Forest Europe and similar processes and develop the network in the forest policy field.

Delegation tasks will include social media posts, interview, and a report after the event. Accommodation will be provided for one person as a Couchsurfing in houses of FOREST EUROPE staff, as well as partial travel support for all delegates is possible.
