Another edition of the Nigerian Forestry Students and Graduates Roundtable is here again.

Please join us as we shall be hosting Dr. Fola Babalola on Saturday 24th April by 3:00 pm WAT

Dr. Fola Babalola is an Associate Professor with a specialization in forest socio-economics. He is a consultant to FAO, a visiting researcher at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and the Founder of Save Sahara Network.

He has received various funding opportunities ranging from competitive research grants to fellowships, scholarships, and travel sponsorships for more than two decades of his career. His Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctoral projects were funded by ANAFE, AFORNET, and IFS.

He has received competitive grants from ITTO, Rufford, British Ecological Society, National Geographic, NRF South Africa, TETFUND Nigeria, UNDP GEF-SGP Nigeria, among others.

He will be giving practical tips on how to access funding opportunities for forestry and related projects.
