Webinar on FAO Global Internship, Volunteers and Fellows Program

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Internship, Volunteers, and Fellows (IVF) Programme aims to attract talented young women and men who are strongly motivated to share their new perspectives, innovative ideas, and latest academic experience in FAO’s domains. The Programme provides a learning opportunity to the participants to
supplement their academic knowledge with a practical work assignment in a field related to the work of FAO.

This webinar is co-organized by FAO Forestry Division (NFO) and the International Forestry Students Association (IFSA), and aims to raise awareness of the Global Youth in the forest sector about the IVF program modalities, benefits, and application process, and to enhance participants skills and knowledge in preparing competitive applications. These could include students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at “bonafide” institutions across the globe, recent graduates as well as early career professionals.

Insights will be shared about how to seek out these opportunities, relevant contacts and information sources, as well as the opportunities to ask questions for further clarity.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 14:30 to 16:00 Rome Time (UTC+1).

Should you have any questions about the event, please contact either Amaitum Joshua Elukut
(fao.commission@ifsa.net) or Ayimasse Akouegnon (Akouegnon.Ayimasse@fao.org).

We look forward to your active participation!
