Forestry Speed Dating puts innovators in contact with potential partners and end-users to speed up innovation and create new partnerships. Through a series of speed dating workshops and the facilitation of meetings with innovators, you can find inspiration and explore new solutions toward a sustainable forest bioeconomy for your area. 

The European Forest Institute – Bioregions Facility has opened the registration for its next Forestry Speed Dating event within the series of Bio-based solutions for sustainable construction.

Wood-based insulation. 

Wood construction is seen as a prominent solution to reduce and reverse climate change as it is a way to capture and store carbon emissions long-term. But wood construction also faces many challenges. During the fifth event of the second Forestry Speed Dating series, two research projects will show their advances and results on sustainable innovations in wood-based insulation for the construction sector.
