Internship opportunity in Madre de Dios, Peru

IFSA is always looking for new opportunities to put into practice what we have learned at the university, we also want to go beyond the classroom, which is why, in the search for new opportunities to develop our technical skills in the field, we are developing a new alliance, with a company that works in the amazon rainforest.

This is why we are very excited to announce a future collaboration with the company “Maderacre” (Peru).
Maderacre is a certified wood production and transformation company located in Peru, with 270,000 hectares of forest concessions certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®). They also participate in the Avoided Deforestation Carbon Credits Project (REDD), offering Carbon Offsets to offset carbon footprints. Maderacre generates 250 direct jobs in Tahuamanu, Madre de Dios, contributing to legal and responsible forestry activities. Aspiring members can apply to develop an internship at Maderacre, a company committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
This internship will take place in person in Madre de Dios, Peru. It will have a period of duration of 2 to 4 months between May to October. The only requirements are:
- Be an active member of IFSA.
- Speak Spanish (basic level).
