Cultural Day of Morocco

Head of Cultural Competencies Sub-Commission
This month of March welcomed FSA Morocco, a relatively new Local Committee (LC) of the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA) through its monthly cultural day where they had the chance to showcase their country, Morocco. The event took place on March 20, 2022, at 2 pm UTC+0 via Zoom where IFSA members from all over the world gathered together to learn about Morocco. Mohamed Ouchen, the President of FSA Morocco, and Halima Najihi, the Secretary of FSA Morocco served as the speakers for this month’s Cultural Day. They shared about the history and geography of Morocco, explained how Forestry works there as well as presented some plant species, showed the amazing structures and architecture present, the food, the culture, and traditions, and shared more unique facts about Morocco.
The Cultural Competencies Sub-Commission organizes monthly cultural day events, and this is one of them. If you’re interested, feel free to join us on future #CulturalDays and learn about the fascinating cultures of our IFSA co-members.
