Conference

The 3rd World Conference on Forests for Public Health, 4-7 October 2023, Sherbrooke city, Canada, will mark the dawn of its new global era to find the sustainable future direction for the multidisciplinary field of the forest, green spaces, and human health.

The message of the conference

Forests, city forests, parks, and other green spaces should be incorporated into the International Organization’s policies and goals, and to National Public Health systems, policies, and practices for a Healthy and Sustainable society.

Abstract Submission Guideline

The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of original abstracts, the latest by 30 April 2023.

The abstracts submitted will be assessed, peer-reviewed, and grouped by topic.

Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral or e-poster presentations.

All presented abstracts in the oral or e-poster form will be published in the book of abstracts.

  • Mental Health benefits of exposure to Nature and Green spaces.
  • Planning physical activities and access for human forest recreation and tourism in

  • Urban forests and their ecosystem services for Public Health (heat, air pollution, noise, etc., natural immunity included).
  • Urban forestry and green spaces planning and design for Human Health activities, availability, and accessibility.

Publication to Journal Forests MDPI

All congress abstracts will be published in a Special Issue of the “Forests” Journal by MDPI (3,282 impact factor) with no extra charge for the authors.

The author has the right to later publish the full paper of the accepted abstract in the journal with a discount, the size of which will be determined by the quality and the grade of the paper.
