The 26th Session of the FAO Committee on Forestry will take place in the FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy from the 3rd to the 10th of October 2022. IFSA is going to send a delegation of selected individuals to the event to learn, gain experiences and raise the voice of the youth.

What is COFO?

The Committee on Forestry is the highest FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) Forestry statutory body. The biennial sessions of COFO bring together heads of forest services and other senior government officials to identify emerging policy and technical issues, to seek solutions and to advise FAO and others on appropriate action. IFSA Delegation

IFSA is looking for dynamic people to engage, participate and report on this world class event. We are searching for a diverse group of individuals (level of education, field of study, gender, region, etc.) that can contribute in their own way to the delegation. IFSA delegates’ admission is free and IFSA will cover delegates’ accommodation and possibly a share of travelling expenses. IFSA will only be able to reimburse delegates after the event, so all participants will have to initially pay for their own expenses.
