Cultural Day of Mexico

By: Kyle Joseph Quijano

Head of Cultural Competencies Sub-Commission

At 2 pm UTC+0 on October 15, 2021, the first-ever “Cultural Day” for the term 2021-2022 was held through IFSA’s Discord Chanel. Jazmin Lopez, the current Head of Capacity Development Commission, and Ivette Estrade, the Internal Councilor for term 2020-2021 gave a talk for the different IFSA members around the globe regarding all things about Mexico – its culture, history, geography, some basic terms in Spanish, forestry in Mexico, some food and culture, as well as some fun facts about the country.

The event is one of the monthly cultural days held by the Cultural Competencies Sub-Commission. Join us on the following #CulturalDays and get to learn more about the different cultures of our co-members here in IFSA.
