LC Project of April 2024

Name of Project: Forestry Games

Local Committee: IFSA LC Belgrade, Serbia

The annual all-round event of “Forestry Games” was held by LC Belgrade, Serbia, on Monday, April 15th 2024. This lively competition brought together students from the Faculty of Forestry, the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, and members of the Cultural Art Society “Čukarica” (KUD), for a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and community spirit.

The event featured exciting physical and skill-based challenges that celebrated both teamwork and individual performance. Beyond the competition, participants relished refreshments and a delicious meal of beans, prepared by the Hunting Association “Mirko Lavadinović.” In a hard-fought battle for the top spot, the competition concluded with the following winners: Team “Gušteri” for first place, KUD for second place, and third place by the women’s team,“Ašale”. This competition aims to foster a sense of unity and collaboration among students, faculty members, and local cultural groups by blending physical activity, forestry-related challenges, and cultural engagement. IFSA proudly recognizes the significant impact of this sustainable project and is delighted to present it with the LC Project of the Month award for April 2024.
