Serving his second term as an official after representing IFSA towards the IUCN in 2019/20, David took over the newly established role as Head of Partner Commission during the 2020 digital IFSS. With no previous position holder to learn from and the External Partner’s specific challenges caused by the COVID pandemic, David still managed to create valuable content and learning opportunities for IFSA members. He successfully coordinated a webinar series with several professional partner organization on current issues in forestry related to latest developments in agroforestry and forest optimization. David shows outstanding organizational skills and with his enthusiasm and proactivity which he transmits onto his whole Commission, he is a vital element of IFSA.
