The fifth session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA-5) is scheduled to take place during the last week of February 2021, in Nairobi, Kenya, as agreed during UNEA-3 in December 2017. 

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the first phase of UNEA 5 (UNEA 5.1) will take place virtually from 22-23 February 2021, however the second phase (UNEA 5.2) is expected to take place as an in-person event in February 2022. 

IFSA is looking for three additional people to join our delegation for this meeting. We seek applicants who are motivated and interested to learn more about UN Environment and are interested in developing their own capacity on sustainable development and international processes.

We are looking for a diverse range of young and enthusiastic people with balanced representation across gender, nationality, and age.
