Report on the North African Regional Meeting (NARM) 2021

Online North African Regional Meeting took place between 16th – 18th July with an amazing program thanks to the combined efforts of the Organizing Committee from LC Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology, Ghana and the Regional Representatives; Ebunoluwa Emmanuel and Francis Boafo Asamoah

During the 3-day program, the Keynote Address: Generation Restoration; Role of the African youth in ecosystem restoration was delivered by Prof. Simon Abugri; Dean of the Department of Forest Science, UENR, CSOs, Restoration and Youth Involvement in Ghana workshop by David Amaning Kwarteng and a Lecture on Opportunities in Forestry by Alex Onatunji

Besides that, some IFSA events took place during the event such as Regional Elections, an Hangout session (Pasar el rato) and Cultural Presentation.

The Theme of the Event was Tagged ‘Generation Restoration; Role of African Youth in Ecosystem Restoration’
