My 6 months of internship as a ‘Youth in Landscapes Network Intern’ at Global Landscapes Forum was a very valuable experience. I got to directly engage with the communication, outreach and engagement team and work closely with the ongoing and future projects.

My major tasks were to manage the social media, newsletters, communication with the steering committee and other youth stakeholders, supporting the supervisor in planning and organization of the youth events within GLF etc. I enhanced my knowledge in networking and organization, learnt the use of several operational software, met the dignified guests and speakers as well as inspirational youth from around the globe and the best experiences are countless.

The most valuable part of my internship was the support and trust given by the team to the intern. GLF adopts you as a team member and hears your opinion for the planning purposes. It highly enhanced my confidence and I strongly felt as a part of the team.
