The GLF Biodiversity Digital Conference will bring together stakeholders from a range of sectors and backgrounds to collectively share solutions to ongoing global issues related to biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, and public health. The event will showcase unique perspectives from scientists, environmental practitioners, policymakers, banks, private corporations, Indigenous Peoples, local communities and the wider public to demonstrate the ways in which we can “build back better” to restore the Earth.
IFSA will be holding a session in the event titled “Reconnect back to roots” As we proceed in the 21st century and look into today’s biodiversity crisis, we, on one hand, realise how intertwined our well-being is with our biodiversity and ecosystem health, and on the other hand, we find ourselves immersed in a globalized urban cultural dimension detached from our roots.
As young leaders, we recognise our part in the intergenerational effort to develop a society that nurtures a culture of living in harmony with nature. But how do young people in a highly digitalised world connect with nature? How do we reconnect back to our roots, and create a world in harmony with nature?
We are giving Forestry Students around the world with free ticket to join us during the GLF Biodiversity Digital Conference where you will learn on forests, green spaces, biodiversity and have the opportunity to see videos of forestry students around the world Reconnecting us back to roots.
