Contribution to FAO-led Task Force on Best Practices
We need your inputs to build tomorrow’s ecosystem restoration curricula!
In the context of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the FAO-led Task Force on Best Practices is taking stock of existing bachelor, master degree and short-term certificate and non certificate programs focused on restoration. If your university has relevant academic programmes, please share their names HERE (by 29 March).
This information will feed the current efforts to identify: i) ways to replicate or extend existing programmes; and ii) gaps where additional knowledge products or capacity development initiatives are needed. The final product will be a Capacity, Knowledge, and Learning Action Plan for the UN Decade, which will encompass all types of ecosystems, sectors and restorative activities. It will contribute to train the next generation of ecosystem restoration practitioners, including maybe you.
