Dear IFSA World,
On 21 March 2021, we celebrated the International Day of Forests. The theme Forest restoration: a path to recovery and well-being and the beginning of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration are a great reminder to reflect on the importance of forest restoration and its role for the health of the environment as well as the health of people.
IFSA invited its members to submit short videos presenting forest restoration initiatives, projects they knew about or general educational videos about forest restoration in their country.
We received several submissions to the call for videos that were evaluated individually by a jury composed of 5 members, both from IFSA and partners organizations.
We are happy to announce the winner of the IFSA Video Contest for the International Day of Forests 2021.
