Open Call for Delegation for the UN Water Conference

Be a part of IFSA’s journey at UN Headquarters, New York City.

The UN 2023 Water Conference – known as the 2023 Conference for the Midterm Comprehensive Review of Implementation of the UN Decade for Action on Water and Sanitation (2018-2028) – will take place at UN Headquarters in New York, 22-24 March 2023, co-hosted by Tajikistan and the Netherlands. The conference will include an opening and closing session, six plenary sessions, five interactive dialogues, and side events organized by participants. IFSA, as a registered NGO, has observer status and will send a delegation of lucky individuals. We are looking for dynamic people to engage, participate and report on this world-class event. We are looking for a diverse group of individuals (level of education, field of study, gender, region, etc.) that can contribute in their own way to the delegation. When filling out the application form, let us know what you think you can bring to the team (for example, leadership, good written skills, understanding of international negotiations, social media presence, experience, etc.). In other words, tell us how unique you are!

The fund is really limited and under consideration. We are encouraging IFSA members to apply for the delegation process and will appreciate the self-funded criteria for everyone for the whole journey of the UN Water Conference. The cost of accommodation and other expenses are yet to be fixed.
